What is DBT?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy helps clients identify problematic and destructive ways of thinking and replace them with more helpful thoughts and behaviors.
What skills will you learn in DBT?
You will learn skills to live mindfully, manage distress, manage difficult emotions, and communicate effectively.
The 4 modules in this course:
• Mindfulness,
• Distress Tolerance
• Emotion Regulation
• Interpersonal Effectiveness.
This course will be held on a virtual, interactive platform.
This course is oriented to young adults ages 18-29 and will be held in a group setting (with a maximum of 10 students).
