Following this he worked as an analyst with BC Buildings Corporation and then managed the pricing department which was responsible for setting market rental rates for provincial government facilities across the province. When a friend received life changing counselling from Bob Vaughn, SICCT's founder, he decided to become more involved and served two terms on the Board from 1994 to 2000. He is an active member of Friendship Community Church.  He is involved as a volunteer in support of organized sports groups and most days find him cycling or playing tennis or pickleball.
