Every year we are privileged to have graduate level students complete their practicum at our Centre. Usually there are 3 students at any given time who are here for up to 9 months as they gain more experience and eventually reach their goal of becoming certified counsellors. If you are enrolled in a Masters’ level counselling program at an accredited university, please consider completing your internship at South Island Counselling. You will receive weekly one-on-one supervision, bi-weekly group supervision and be part of a collegial staff who gathers bi-weekly to offer peer support and case consultation.
